Our company has humanitarian airline contracts with two dozen of the world’s top airlines, including both U.S. and foreign carriers. Nearly 75% of our clients travel from the United States to Africa and another 15% travel to Latin America.
Economy Travel’s operations are centered on a complex database search function that pinpoints the lowest-priced airfares, comparing both regular, airline published fares and our contracted humanitarian fares. This unique approach to identifying airfares give our clients multiple options and guarantees the best possible price. Aside from airfare, Economy Travel is also proud to provide comprehensive travel insurance policies. Our overall mission is to provide great service and value for our clients.
Our business is fully licensed and bonded by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). We are also bonded by many of the airlines we have contracts with. Such licenses and bonds are provided with protection against financial failure to ensure travel arrangements are virtually risk-free.
Launched in the spring of 1988, Economy Travel. Our company’s initial focus on international travel still holds true to this day and nearly three decades after our inception, we have pivoted from a primarily leisure focused agency to a 100% humanitarian focused agency. We are especially proud of the fact that we have become the largest church airfare agency and the second largest Humanitarian agency in the country.
Our humanitarian contracts are exclusively for use by travelers on behalf of non-profit organizations. We provide airfare arrangements for those who volunteer their time on behalf of churches, adoptions agencies, schools or educational institutions and humanitarian/missionary organizations. We can offer these as a group airfare, 10 or more people traveling together or to individuals.
